UHF portable transceiver for unlicensed use. The Yaesu VX-246 is a computer designed for the regulation of A-110 unlicensed use in UHF. YAESU VX246KIT

It incorporates a signaling system in 38 CTCSS and DCS 108 to avoid interference, and can be programmed so indistinct frequencies / CTCSS and DCS in each of the 16 positions of the switch channels from your computer, so it is possible to customize according to the user.

The radio is programmable via PC or using the keyboard with a password for access. VX-246 comes complete with a battery of Ni / MH and desktop charger. Optionally you can run on alkaline batteries R6.

It is fully compatible with accessories in the series VX-210 so it has a comprehensive range of microphones, headphones, batteries, chargers, etc ...
