The IC-7300 employs a direct RF sampling system. RF signals are directly converted to digital data and processed in the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), simplifying circuit construction. This system is a groundbreaking technology for amateur radio. The IC-7300 offers a nearly 97 dB (typical) improvement in RMDR characteristics and a nearly 15 dB (at 1 kHz frequency spacing) improvement in phase noise compared to the IC-7200. The superior phase noise characteristics reduce noise components in both transmit and receive signals. The large 4.3-inch color TFT touchscreen provides intuitive operation. Using the touchscreen software keypad, you can easily configure various functions and edit memories.
