With the newly evolved Super-DX function and Digital Audio Signal Processor (ASP), the FT-3185RASP delivers reliable performance with 85W transmit power. Its massive, fanless heat sink ensures a steady 85W of RF power (selectable in 85W/50W/20W/5W). The Super-DX function increases the receiver sensitivity and improves reception of weak signals. In addition, when the Super-DX key is activated, the new ASP (Digital Audio Signal Processor) is also activated. Super-DX together with ASP ensures reliable audio quality for weak signals and extends the communication range.

Main differences from FT2980E:
 1- Advanced Processing System (ASP), which improves the reception of weak signals, ideal for long-range contacts.
2- Super DX Function Reduces interference and unwanted noise, allowing you to capture clearer signals even in adverse conditions.
